These are my newest earrings available in my "Ruta" collection. They are beautifully and carefully hand cut "Rue" or "Ruta" leaves cut out of the sterling silver with a high polish finish.
Each leaf is individually cut, filed, sanded and polished so they may not be identical as each is one of a kind! Please allow 1-2 weeks for me to make these for you, plus shipping time. It's always best to order early!
The Rue leaf is a very meaningful symbol in Baltic Europe for new beginnings and rites of passage such as a wedding, new baby, christening etc. I am forever inspired by my rich Lithuanian heritage.
Each leaf measures approximately 1 and 1/8" high and hang from hand made sheperd-style sterling silver hooks. I can certainly make the hooks larger or smaller- whatever you prefer. They are very light weight and easy to wear with any outfit!
The earrings come packaged in a reusable velvet-lined metal gift case.
